WIC Winter Qur’an Competition 2025 — A Day of Qur’anic Excellence & Community Spirit

We are excited to remind you about the upcoming WIC Winter Qur’an Competition 2025, taking place this December at Watford Islamic Centre. A beautiful opportunity for children and youth to come together for a day filled with Qur’anic memorisation, recitation, learning, and unity.

Open to all abilities whether beginners, intermediate, or advanced participants will have the chance to grow in confidence, strengthen their connection with the Qur’an, and share the blessed atmosphere of community learning.

🔹 Category 1: Hifdh – Memorisation (First 10 Juz')

  • Group A: Juz’ 1–2 — Prize: £150

  • Group B: Juz’ 1–4 — Prize: £200

  • Group C: Juz’ 1–6 — Prize: £300

  • Group D: Juz’ 1–8 — Prize: £400

  • Group E: Juz’ 1–10 — Prize: £500

🔹 Category 2: Hifdh – Memorisation (Last 10 Juz')

  • Group A: Juz’ 30–29 — Prize: £150

  • Group B: Juz’ 30–27 — Prize: £200

  • Group C: Juz’ 30–25 — Prize: £300

  • Group D: Juz’ 30–23 — Prize: £400

  • Group E: Juz’ 30–21 — Prize: £500

🔹 Category 3: Qirā’ah – Recitation

  • Group A: Ages 5–7 — Prize: £100

  • Group B: Ages 8–10 — Prize: £100

  • Group C: Ages 11–15 — Prize: £100

  • Group D: Ages 16–19 — Prize: £100

  • Group E: Ages 20–25 — Prize: £100
